High School Information
Taft Head Coach Will Orbin Comments;(willorbin@taftschool.org) “Brooks was a regular starter as a sophomore at Taft where he played as an attacking outside midfielder. He is an accurate and powerful crosser in addition to being a ‘pacy’, technical ball handler who works very hard on both sides of the ball. His potential is significant as he has the physical tools and the character to develop his game to a higher level. Brooks is an exciting college soccer prospect as he looks to play at the next level."
Will Orbin, Head Soccer Coach, The Taft School, 110 Woodbury Road, Watertown, CT 06795, Phone 1860 945 7777. Coach Orbin Played four years at Lehigh then played professional soccer in
Europe for four years.

Dennis Cheatham Head Coach HFC (DI) 2006-present and
Belmont
University Asst. Coach 1995-2001 Comments:
“I have had the privilege working with Brooks over the past two summers. He brings a fresh approach each summer with the team and assists in improving the level of play with the players around him. From his desire to win every ball possible to scoring at every opportunity, Brooks has ability, discipline and confidence to play college ball. Having coach and recruited numerous collegiate players, I believe Brooks has the dedication, discipline and commitment to play at the next level. Not is it only his ball skills but his off the ball movement, vision and speed of play that has allowed Brooks to be a top player when he steps on any field.”
Taylor Dunn HFC (premier league) Head Coach 2000-2006 and
Harding
Academy Coach 2004 and 2005 Comments:
"Brooks was always a difference maker for the HFC Hurricanes and for
Harding
Academy . From when I first started coaching Brooks he had a nose for the goal and was consistent in his ability to score. Brooks was very coachable and a model team player. Brooks raised the confidence and level of play for his teams every time he took the field. I consider it an honor to have coached Brooks through all those years. Having coached many youth players, it is rare and refreshing to see a player enthusiastic about playing at the next level. He always played every game with total commitment from the first whistle to the last whistle. Brooks has the discipline, attitude and skill to continue to develop and play in college."
